This speech from Shakespeare’s Hamlet was the inspiration for our company name when we launched in 1998.
We felt then and still do now that this quote perfectly encapsulates what we aim to empower our clients with: we want their words to flow “trippingly off the tongue”, with fluency and fluidity.
One day, having left their jobs at Lloyds of London and a travel company to train at the world-renowned London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Boo and Jon were reflecting on the challenges common to both worlds and came to the realisation that the business world had a lot to learn from the theatre and vice-versa. Combining their skills and experience from both worlds created the perfect recipe for their first “Power of Speech” course.

Most of our clients have knowledge in abundance but don’t always have the ability to communicate that knowledge. Without clarity, even the greatest ideas run the risk of getting lost in a stream of complicated and unintelligible business language. So we provide a range of structural templates to suit different occasions; templates that ensure that thoughts and messages are easy to digest and are memorable to all that hear them.
Most of the great actors, painters, dancers, athletes and speakers rely on two things: talent and technique. We can’t help with the first but we can certainly help with the second!
